Dear Students,
         We all know that the spread of Corona virus (COVID-19) infection all over the world has posed a serious problem for all of us. The Corona virus infection is spreading rapidly in India day-by-day. In such situation, India is now under the phase of Lockdown to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.  As per order by the WBHED and CBPBU, our college has been closed since 16thMarch, 2020. But all classes of U.G. CBCS (Hons and Programme Courses) have started since 23.03.2020. Mekliganj College is situated in the India- Bangladesh Border area. Internet facilities are not functioning properly.  Our respective subject teachers (Bengali, English, Philosophy, Education, Political science, Sociology, Sanskrit, History, Physical Education and Geography) have been providing their study materials to the students through WhatsApp, Email etc.  A few departments have scheduled online classes through Zoom App and WhatsApp video calling. In this situation to make easier the Teaching and Learning and as the students can continue their education smoothly we are introducing this Web Blog, MEKLIGANJ COLLEGE E-LEARNING MODULE. Now we are uploading the study materials, notes, suggestions, voice and video lectures of all subjects in the college website. So, all students under CBCS system can easily download the study materials and watch the video lectures by using Computer or Smart Phones (Mobiles). Due to lockdown period it would be of great benefit for the students. So all the students are directed to follow the college website for their online classes, study materials and any others notice regarding the opening of college etc.
          In addition, all students are advised to follow the guidelines of the Central and State Governments for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

6th sem honours (Nature of Integral Yoga by Sri Aurobindo)

 অখন্ড যোগ বা পূর্ণ যোগের প্রকৃতি (Nature of Integral Yoga):
    শ্রী অরবিন্দ তাঁর যোগের প্রকৃতি প্রসঙ্গে বলেছেন, 'যোগ এর অর্থ ঐশ্বরিক সত্তার সঙ্গে যুক্ত হওয়া', এই সংযুক্ত হওয়া হতে পারে অতিজাগতিক, অথবা জাগতিক অথবা একক ব্যক্তিগত অথবা তিনটি একসঙ্গে।আর এই কারনেই তার 'যোগ'কে বলা হয় অখন্ড। এই যোগ আরোহণের পদ্ধতিকে ত্বরান্বিত করে,এই যোগের কয়েকটি মৌলিক চরিত্র হলো এরকম :
১.ভারতীয় যোগের বিভিন্ন আকৃতিগুলি কিছু বিশেষ ক্ষমতার কর্যণ করে চলে,অর্থাৎ যোগচর্চা মানে কিছু অলৌকিক ক্ষমতার অধিকারী হওয়ার প্রচেষ্টা।আর তাই সকলের কাছে যোগচর্চা সহজ ব্যাপার নয়।কিন্তু শ্রী অরবিন্দ অন্তর যোগের যে রূপরেখা এঁকেছেন  তা সকলেই কাছে অনুসরণ করতে পারে।আর এ কারণেই তিনি পতঞ্জলি যোগের প্রাণায়াম এবং আসন এর জটিল শ্বাসপ্রশ্বাস ও দেহের অন্যান্য ক্রিয়াদির ব্যায়াম সংক্রান্ত বিষয় নিয়ন্ত্রিত হয়, সে বিষয়ে বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেননি।এমনকি প্রার্থনা মন্ত্রের আবৃতি করা কেউ সুপারিশ করেননি।তাঁর পূর্ণ যোগ হল অন্তরের যোগ,যেখানে প্রয়োজন কিছু নিয়মশৃঙ্খলা ও পবিত্রতা এবং আধ্যাত্মিকতা বোধ, যাকে সকলেই অভ্যাস করতে পারে।
২. অধিকাংশ যৌগিক পদ্ধতি প্রয়োগ করে জগত সম্পর্কে  নঞর্থক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি।পতঞ্জলির যোগের লক্ষ্য বিবেক জ্ঞান অর্জন করা।যার মাধ্যমে কেবল আত্মা থেকে অনাত্মা  পৃথক করা যায়।কিন্তু শ্রী অরবিন্দ বিশ্বাস করেন,যোগের লক্ষ্য জ্ঞানের মধ্যে পৃথকীকরণ নয়, বরং অনাত্মাকে আধ্যাতিকতায় উন্নীত করা।
৩. অধিকাংশ যৌগিক দার্শনিক বিশ্বাস করেন , যোগে যা প্রয়োজন হয় তাহল স্থূল দেহের ওপরে ওঠা।কিন্তু শ্রীঅরবিন্দ এ কথা কখনো বলেননি যে দেহকে সম্পূর্ণ বাতিল করতে হবে বা দমন করতে হবে।বরং তিনি বিশ্বাস করতেন যোগের লক্ষ্য হলো দেহকে অতিমানসিক আলোক দ্বারা উদ্দীপ্ত করা।
৪. অন্যান্য যোগীরা বলেন ঐশ্বরিক সত্তার সঙ্গে মানুষ যোগের মাধ্যমে যুক্ত হয় সমাধির অবস্থায়,তখন জাগ্রত চেতনা সম্পূর্ণ বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যায় এবং চারপাশের সাধারণ জগতের সঙ্গে সমস্ত সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন হয়ে যায় বিপরীত দিকে শ্রীঅরবিন্দ বলেছেন, ঐশ্বরিক সত্তার সঙ্গে আধ্যাত্মিক সংযুক্তিকরণ হওয়া সম্ভব এই দেহে এবং আমাদের জাগ্রত চেতনার মাধ্যমেই।
৫. অন্যান্য যৌগিক দার্শনিকরা বলছেন, যোগের লক্ষ্য হলো একক ব্যক্তির মুক্তি। কিন্তু শ্রী অরবিন্দ বলেছেন এটাই যোগের একমাত্র লক্ষ্য নয়। বস্তুতঃ যোগের চরম লক্ষ্যের একটি দিক মাত্র একক ব্যক্তির মোক্ষ, যোগের চরম লক্ষ্য হলো সমগ্র মানবজাতির পুনরুদ্ধার করা এবং এই পৃথিবীতে দিব্য জীবনের উন্মেষ ঘটানো।

অখন্ড যোগ (Integral Yoga):
   দিব্য জীবন হলো বিবর্তনের চরম লক্ষ্য।কিন্তু এই দিব্য জীবনকে কিভাবে আমরা পৃথিবী নিয়ে আসব? শ্রীঅরবিন্দ অনুভব করেছিলেন জগতের বুকে একদিন দিব্য জীবন নেমে আসবেই, হয় দ্রুত অথবা বিলম্বিত হতে পারে,তবে আধ্যাত্মিক কার্যক্রম এই অবতরণকে দ্রুত কার্যকরী করতে সমর্থ। কিন্তু কিভাবে কত নির্দিষ্ট ও দ্রুতভাবে এটা সম্ভব?
 শ্রীঅরবিন্দের উত্তর হল এটা করা সম্ভব 'যোগ' এর মাধ্যমে।শ্রীঅরবিন্দ যেভাবে যোগের প্রকৃতিকে বুঝেছেন তার বিস্তারিত ও সম্পূর্ণ ব্যাখ্যা এখানে দেওয়া সম্ভব নয় এ জন্যই যে প্রথমতঃ এই ব্যাখ্যা বিশাল হবে, এবং দ্বিতীয়তঃ অনিবার্যভাবে 'তন্ত্রে'র উপর নির্ভরশীল।যা এই দার্শনিক আলোচনা পরিসরের বাইরে। এখানে কেবল শ্রীঅরবিন্দের অখন্ড যোগের দার্শনিক আলোচনা করা যেতে পারে।
অখন্ড যোগের লক্ষ্য:
    যোগ শব্দের সাধারণ অর্থ যুক্ত হওয়া। পতঞ্জলি যোগ শব্দটিকে সাধারণ অর্থে ব্যবহার করেননি।পতঞ্জল ঈশ্বরকে স্বীকার করলেও তার যোগসূত্রে 'ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হওয়াকে' যোগ বলেননি।যোগের লক্ষন প্রসঙ্গে পতঞ্জল বলেছেন বলেছেন 'যোগশ্চিত্তবৃত্তিনিরোধ' অর্থাৎ যোগচিত্তবৃত্তির নিরোধ। বুদ্ধি অহংকার মন এই তিনটি তত্ত্বকে যোগ দর্শনে 'চিত্ত' বলা হয়েছে। এই চিত্ত যখন কোন বিষয়ের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়, তখন চিত্ত সেই বিষয়ের আকার গ্রহণ করে। চিত্তের বিষয়াকার  গ্রহণণই চিত্তবৃত্তি। যেমন ইন্দ্রিয় মনের মাধ্যমে চিত্র যখন ঘটের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত হয়, তখন চিত্ত ঘটের আকার গ্রহণ করে অর্থাৎ চিত্তের ঘটাকারবৃত্তি হয়। চিত্তের বৃত্তি হল এই প্রকার জ্ঞানরূপ অবস্থাসকল। আত্মা স্বরূপতঃ বিশুদ্ধ চেতন্য, তাহ চেতন্যের বিকার সম্ভব নয়। সুতরাং চিত্তে প্রতিবিম্বিত আত্মারই বিকার হয়।চিত্তে প্রতিবিম্বিত আত্মাই অবিদ্যাবশত নিজেকে ওইসব বৃত্তিজ্ঞানের জ্ঞাতা, কর্তা ও ভোক্তা বলে মনে করেন। এই অবস্থাই হচ্ছে আত্মার বদ্ধাবস্থা।বদ্ধাবস্থায় আত্মা পঞ্চক্লেশে ক্লিষ্ট হয়, এরূপ বন্ধন মুক্তির জন্যই চিত্তবৃত্তি নিরোধের প্রয়োজন। চিত্তবৃত্তি নিরুদ্ধ হলে চিত্ত সম্পূর্ণরূপে বৃত্তিহীন রূপে অবস্থান করে।চিত্তের এই অবস্থাই 'সমাধি' বা যোগা।কারণ চিত্তবৃত্তি সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিরুদ্ধ হলে প্রকৃতির সঙ্গে পুরুষের বা আত্মার সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন হয় এবং আত্মা স্বরূপে অবস্থান করে।এই অবস্থাই হচ্ছে মুক্তি বা কৈবল্যের  অবস্থা।
    শ্রীঅরবিন্দের 'অখন্ড যোগ' কিন্তু পতঞ্জলের 'যোগ' থেকে নানা দিক থেকে পৃথক। এই পার্থক্য গুলি হল:
 প্রথমতঃ আমরা বলতে পারি অরবিন্দের যোগ সমন্বয় হল ফলের সমন্বয়।আর পতঞ্জলের যোগ সমন্বয় হল পদ্ধতির সমন্বয়। শ্রীঅরবিন্দ হঠযোগের অভ্যাস বাধ্যতামূলক করেননি।তার পদ্ধতিতে - যদিও তার ফলাফল পাওয়া যায় তার পদ্ধতিতে।
 দ্বিতীয়তঃ পতঞ্জলির মতে ঈশ্বর উপলব্ধির একমাত্র উপায় আত্মোপলব্ধি এটাই চরম লক্ষ্য।কিন্তু শ্রীঅরবিন্দের মতে ব্যক্তির আত্মউপলব্ধি বিশ্বচেতনার উপলব্ধির থেকে নিম্নমানের।
 তৃতীয়তঃ পতঞ্জলির মতে,আত্মউপলব্ধিতে তুরীয় অবস্থায় কোন বিষয়ের চেতনা থাকে না।এটি অন্য তিনটি চেতনার নিম্ন অবস্থা,যথাক্রমে জাগ্রত, স্বপ্নময়, এবং স্বপ্নহীন অবস্থা থেকে পৃথক।যখন কোনো ব্যক্তি তুরীয় চেতনার অবস্থা থেকে জেগে ওঠে এবং ফিরে আসে জাগ্রত অবস্থায়,তার সমাধি ভেঙে যায়।তখন আত্মা মানসিক অবস্থার দ্বারা নিজেকে চিহ্নিত করে।তাই আত্মোপলব্ধি কেবল সম্ভব সমাধির অবস্থাতেই।
 কিন্তু শ্রীঅরবিন্দের মতে সমাধি চরম লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছানোর জন্য অপরিহার্য নয়। যেটা অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজন,তাহল জাগ্রত চৈতন্যের রূপান্তর।এটা ছাড়া যোগ কখনো চরম ফল প্রদান করতে পারেনা।

 চতুর্থতঃ শ্রী অরবিন্দ বলেছেন,যোগ ব্যক্তিকে তৈরি করে উপরের দিব্য চিৎ শক্তিকে গ্রহণের উপযোগী করে,মানুষকে হতে হবে দিব্য শক্তিকে গ্রহণের আধার মাত্র।এর জন্য নিজের আমিত্বকে সম্পূর্ণ বর্জন করাই প্রাথমিক পদক্ষেপ। যদি এই পদক্ষেপ গ্ৰহণ করা হয়,তবেই এই পৃথিবী অতিমানসের অবতরণ ঘটবে, এবং ক্রমে এক দিব্য মানবসমাজের উদ্ভব ঘটবে।
